My Hubby is Awesome!

my husband is my best friend. he makes me laugh everyday and fills my
heart with so much joy. God has blessed me so much through my wonderful
husband! Brian makes me a better person and thus a better mom and wife.
he has relaxed me so much since the day we met and I am so grateful for
the selflessness i have observed him show to others which has helped me
to strive to do the same. he works well over 40 hours a week, goes to
school full time and still fills his days off with family days every
week, while doing his homework when the kids go to bed. he is the best
daddy ever too! he loves his kids so much and would do anything for
them! I am so blessed to have such a loving and devoted man as a
husband and daddy to my kids! God has blessed this family very very
much!

Fun day with Family and friends!

I am in LOVE with mother’s day!! My amazing hubby who has to
work on mother’s day this year bought me my gift early! He got me a REAL Coach
purse! I have wanted one FOREVER and he got me one today and I LOVE IT! We went
to the Outlets in Marysville and when we walked in they handed us a 30% off
coupon for anything in the store. So I picked about 5 out and then with help
from my friend M (who was there too) I narrowed it down and got this one! I AM
SO IN LOVE WITH IT
J So it retails for $328.00 which is totally insane for a purse if you ask me. And
we got it for pocket change compared to the real price! It was on sale and then
I got 30% off that. I am so so excited! It is sitting right here next
to me on the computer but Brian thinks I need to wait until Sunday (Mother’s
Day) but I am going to keep working on him
J

We also went to the Tulip Festival with R and M. It was so
much fun!!! It didn’t last long because we had the kids and there was LOTS of
mud, but taking pictures in the flowers was a lot of fun. We have so much fun
with R and M that it just makes everything we do a lot more enjoyable. Tay wanted to take her shoes off and play in the mud and she could have sat there all day with wet and dirty feet. Ty loved the mud too, but we didn’t let him play in it as it would have been a very messy hour car ride home

(this is her in her cute tea outfit:)

tonight as I lay in bed thinking over my day, I can't help but be so grateful for a quiet moment! my beautiful, loving, creative, smart and absolutely funny 4 year old daughter is becoming a 15 year old over night...or so it feels! today we were at a tea party at her school and she decides that she doesn't only want 3 mini cupcakes but 4.....and when I stop her to tell her that that is MORE then enough sugar, she
melts. and no, not the cute melt.....I am talking a major melt down in the middle of the room! I picked her up and took her into another room and tays sweet teacher followed. teacher Nicky told me that she has never seen that side of tay before....which I was very happy to hear as I am seeing it a lot lately. Nicky sat with me and gave me some great advice and confidence in my parenting....which I needed right in that
moment!! she looked at me and told me that God has picked me to be tays mama, because he knows that I can do the best job. what a great
thing to hear when you are embarrassed and drained! God picked me to
love Tay and raise her in His ways! what a blessing! it was such a
good reminder and tonight as I lay here really thinking about it, I am
utterly blown away by that blessing!

the moving truck and start the next chapter of our lives......in our
first house!!!! hubby and I spent 2 hours the other night in home
depot picking out paint colors, garbage cans, lawn bowers.......mostly
it was a lot of dreaming but it was so fun! it's such an amazing
process and it's been so great doing it with Brian! he is the best and

My day today!

Today was a very productive day for me. I hate to admit this but I had at least 3 loads of laundry to fold and as of this morning I had 5 that needed cleaned. Now at the end of the day, I can say that I have done all the laundry and put it away. I cut both of my sweet kid’s hair. This is the first haircut for Ty other than his bangs. I think they both look really good. Ty looks so much like his Uncle Adam with his hair short. I loved his curls in the back but they were out of control. I took like 3 inches off Taylor’s hair and she looks so cute!! I also did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. For those of you who know me, you know that I
HATE doing the dishes. I waited until after dinner to complete this task, even though it needed to be done before breakfast. I actually should have done them last night but didn’t. We are in the process of buying a house and got the inspection done yesterday and it passed!!! So today I started packing up all my scrapbook stuff
L Makes me sad to think that it could be a month before I can use this stuff again, however totally worth it because WE ARE BUYING A HOUSE!!!!! I also had some really fun play time with by sweet kiddos! We took all the mattresses of the beds upstairs and lined the halls with them! We jumped up and down the hall to get all our wiggles out! It was really fun!! Tay and I also practiced her letters using the apple lettersJ It was a very good and productive day.

A picture of the cast from your favorite show.

I love The Office. I have to admit when I first watched the very first episode I was not impressed. Brian (hubby) was on the ground he was laughing so hard and I just didn’t get it. A few more episodes came and went and I still didn’t get it. Then after like 5, it became the funniest
show ever. We watch it every Thursday night and love it!!! I hope it is still just as good without Michael though. I am kind of nervous. Will Ferrell is on this week and I can’t wait!!!

Catrina is my best friend. We have been friends since we were babies. We have pictures of each other when we are sleeping in the crib together, and pictures of her and I the day of my wedding. She is a great listener and can always make me laugh. We
have some really funny memories together. I am thinking of a rocking chair and
a steep staircase......:) My kids love their auntie Trina. Thanks for being such a great friend!

Sleepy mama! We had such a blast this weekend and I am very tired this morning. Taylor’s birthday
party was so great. She had a really good time!! Thanks to all our friends and family who were here to celebrate my big 4 year olds special day. Tay got so many fun things! R and M got her a Dora sing along book that she is playing with right now and Ty loves just as much! I just asked her what her favorite birthday gift was, and she said “all of them”. My mom and dad went in on a gift with us as got her a Leapster2 and she has already gone through 8 batteries. Auntie C and Grandma A got her a Dora game and she hasn’t been able to put it down. I can’t believe she is already 4 years old! This last year has
gone by so fast and it’s starting to get a bit sad that she is growing up so fast. I love my sweet princess so much and her birthday party was so fun!

My life!

At the moment my sweet 15 month old baby boy Tysen is screaming at the top of his lungs for me
to get him from his crib, however, it's nap time and he doesn't seem to want to
sleep. My 3 year old daughter Taylor is upstairs in quiet time playing a
princess game and is actually doing a wonderful job at being super quiet. I
also have a batch of brightly colored cupcakes in the oven in preparation from
Taylors 4th birthday party on Saturday. It has been a very busy morning at our house.
Tay had school this morning and the house actually got cleaned somewhat while
she was gone. I guess that kind of sums up my morning. My hubby is at work and
I miss him very much
L We were able to spend the last 3 days
together on an awesome date weekend and it was so much fun. He is also home all
weekend so I am thrilled about that
J We are taking Taylor skiing tomorrow
for the first time. Her daddy and Grampie are really into the winter sports so
we are starting her out young. She will be better than me next year;) Then on
Saturday it is party time! I can’t believe she is already 4 years old. Time has
just flown by and she is getting so big. She wants a Dora party with a piƱata
so that’s what we got
J I will have to post pictures after the
big day! Well I have a busy few days so I am going to get moving. Just wanted
to start my first blog and get it going
J
